I’m really glad I chose UCSD for a number of reasons. I mean I probably could’ve done just as well as any other university (honestly, college is what you make of it, its not the silly reputations that each school has). What I learned as a freshman so far.
1. You go to college and find that everybody did everything you did BUT MORE in high school.  2. Midterms come by FAST. REALLY FAST. The same goes for finals. 3. People say hella. Get over it. 4. A good percentage of people smoke/drink - heck I could find more dealers than tutors. 5. You’re on your own. Even when you’re 10 minutes away from home, you still don’t HAVE to do...
